Considering how much I enjoyed Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, it was a natural step to move on to another of Nabeel Qureshi’s works. I was not disappointed. I don’t believe I’ve ever read or heard a more balanced and detailed look at Islam, jihad, and the surge of radicalism we’ve seen in recent decades.
Nabeel takes great care and shows tremendous love in speaking about his former faith. Considering that all of his family members are still devout Muslims, that comes as no surprise. But in spite of the effort Qureshi puts into avoiding undue alarmism, he never softens the truth.
If you’re a fan of history, theology, or current events, you’ll want to check out this book. I couldn’t recommend it more.
