This is one of the best tragedy stories I’ve ever read. It was well developed and highlighted the degree of Loki’s trickery. Loki was willing to take advantage of Hodur and broke a sacred rule of the gods. The story also has the theme of exception to rules and the part they play. If not for overlooking mistletoe and the hard-heartedness of Pokk, Baldur may have lived.

It was a depressing story, but then again this is a myth focusing on the death of Baldur, and I did thoroughly enjoy it despite its gloomy ending. It introduces the idea that even though a god is immortal, there will always be an end or has Frigga mentioned, an exception. It demonstrates how while these myths were formed, the authors of these stories tended to incorporate their own experiences in these stories as a way to make it relatable and personal to the audience, who were reading/listening to them. The loss of Balder which is told by Frigga, his mother, is an indicator of how it showcases the feeling of grief between a mother and her child, which was something I liked as it had a different tone compared to other Norse myths I’ve seen. Another aspect I liked was the theme of the myth, as it indirectly mentions how everything has an end, whether it is expected or not. Thus, through this moral, it presents to the readers that these gods were an embodiment of human emotions. Except they’re referred to under a different name and happen to have longevity and magic on their side. A great myth I would recommend to someone if they want to hear a story with a different mood.

Why was Loki jealous of Baldur?
He was jealous of him because of his popularity, because everyone loved him and he was the exact opposite.
Who was responsible for Baldur’s death?
Hodur with the mistletoe arrow.

I think it’s a fair relationship but sometimes it’s not like, they have very clear morals and like are very ethic? but their laws are a whole different story so they clash sometimes.

My favorite season can be either fall or winter, when is fall the scenery is very pretty and the weather is very nice, and winter because i really like snow and being cold, and winter clothes are very stylish which i like.

Hey! You cut the story short! In the end Baldur did come back to life but there was something to do with the giantess who was actually Loki. I do really like storynory but it is quite sad that it isn’t the whole story.

This is a great story and Loki killed someone just to get popular will even if he wanted people to adore him no one would because he sacrificed a god just for that. Loki is my least favourite god of all the other.
