I liked this story. I liked that there was a happy ending. I also liked that Loki did something good instead of the bad I’ve normally seen his character do. I also like the story because it tells me the reason why the Asgardians are immortal

I liked this story because of how suspenseful it was. For example, near the end when Thjasse was chasing Loki after he stole the apples back. There was a lot at stake and everyone depended on Loki to bring the apples back to them. Another thing I liked was Loki’s character since he caused trouble for the gods but still managed to make it up to them by solving the problem that he created. He has a side that’s mischievous but also a side that’s kind and benevolent.

I likes this story because they explain why the Norse gods are the way they are. And it shows vulnerability of the gods. So the Norse did believe that gods aged. So Odin could take away a gods youth by not letting them eat the apples. Also Loki who caused all the problems also helped fix the mess he made showing that he isn’t all bad.

I liked the story. One thing I liked about it was how Loki made a mistake that was human-like. He gave into the temptation of being relieved of his pain. He also was human-like in the fact that he didn’t go to anyone for help. Another thing I liked about the story was the suspense. There was suspense when the Thjasse made the deal about the cooked meat, when it was noted that the sky was dark before Idun was swept away, and when Loki was trying his hardest to fly back before Thjasse caught up to him.

I really like this story. I find it so cool that when they eat Idun’s apples that they become young again. I don’t get why they want to get mad when they see 1 or 2 grey hairs on their head. I personally don’t think that other gods will see 1 or 2 grey hairs on another gods head.

I liked this story. I was interested in Thjasse’s character as he said gods are not the only ones who can change shape and how he was interested in Idun’s apples but he is not a god. It seemed strange to me that Loki and Odin would agree to Thjasse’s wants without knowing what they are. I also don’t get why only Loki had to get the apples when Odin was also involved. Overall though, the story was interesting.
