I feel bad for the poor wild cat! He probably had a wife and kids and was trying to find food for his family because they where hungry! Sure, it was good for the field mouse, but what about the wildcat? He deserves to be happy, too!

The Queen if the field Mice at the beginning of the chapter captures the poor Wild Cat in order to help Dorothy and her travelling
friends. This is quite a mighty thing for a small mouse but she must have a lot of strength if she is to be queen
